Saturday 13th October - Friday 19th October
The Broome Pentathlon is an opportunity to incorporate a fantastic sporting event format, combining community involvement with local business identities, whilst raising funds for the The Kyle Andrews Foundation Inc.
Teams of three people will nominate to compete in 5 sporting events over 5 afternoon/evenings. Conditions of entry and full scoring details will be released closer to the event but the overall event format will run along the basic guidelines listed.
Team numbers are limited to 16 teams due to sporting venue capacity. Team selection into the event will follow a ballot process with a number of places held for sponsors of the event. Teams are encouraged to detail their ability to contribute to the fundraising component of the event.
Each team will pay an entry nomination fee of $750.00 and also be required to raise a minimum amount of $750.00 in a similar format to the Gibb Challenge event. Some ideas to help you get started on the fundraising can be found here.
The entry fee covers:
5 x nightly meals provided (Sunday-Thursday)
All sporting venue playing costs
